Spoken English Level 5 advanced level course is designed for individuals who have acquired a theoretical knowledge of spoken English, perhaps as graduates of linguistics, English, Mass Communications or other related courses but want to improve their practical knowledge and use of English. They will sit a pretest and must score at least 60% in Spoken English (Theory). This course is best for persons who want to pursue a career in broadcasting, customer service, public speaking and other speech related careers

Target Audience

This Spoken English Course is an advanced level course for teachers, broadcasters, customer service representatives and other individuals who have a foundation in English theory but want to improve their practical knowledge of the Spoken English. This course is specifically designed for persons are working in broadcasting, customer service, public speaking and other speech related careers. Persons who want to pursue these careers but do not have a foundation in English studies should consider taking Spoken English Level 1 or Level 3 Course to get foundational knowledge.

Course Duration

Sixteen weeks. However, it can be completed between twelve and sixteen weeks.

Methodology

The course is delivered as text and video. It is recommended that you watch the videos while looking at the text. Also, each Lesson is followed by oral and written quizzes. You must complete the quizzes before you advance to the next lesson. Please note that the pass grade for each quiz is 65%.

Certification

Completing this course will lead to the award of the SECA LEVEL 5 Certificate.
